The Battle



Brain battling with heart

I’m not sure which path to take

Traditional old worn out paths

Or a newer less used path

 

Brain speaking the old path

But heart

I’m not able to hear its voice

I don’t know why

 

They say follow your heart

But I am not able to

I am not even able to hear its voice

Then how will I follow it

 

The battle is so strong

I am to choose the side

A side that will change my life

For better or for worst

 

If I choose the same old path

Then no adventure or risks worth taking

Many are already there in that path

But only a few are there because their heart said so

 

For time to decide

I decide to leave to my heart and brain at battle

And now I am going to embrace each moment

With renewed spirit

Because I decided to live in the moment

And wait for time and God to decide my future.
